The 1670 Anniversary Inks commemorate the year Jacques Herbin was founded in the heart of Paris, initially as a maison selling sealing wax and later writing inks.

The intense, deep colors of the 1670 Anniversary Inks are illuminated with gold glitter.

During his maritime expeditions, Jacques Herbin appreciated spending time alone at the stern of his ship, to recharge and admire the deep colours of the sky. This Opale Nocturne (Night Opal) ink evokes a beautiful summer sky as the sun's rays gently fade. This hue brings serenity and harmony to this brief moment which is particularly conducive to meditation and daydreaming.
